“It is important for womenin Armenia to major in science, technology and math. I had problems with my Grandfather, as he told me that these majors are not for girls. Instead of going to college, he told me that I should learn some handicraft and work, but I made a decision that this is the major that will make me happy in the future. I truly believe that motivation gives power to achieve goals. For students, one of the best motivation can be the scholarship they earn. There are many women in Armenia who are very smart, but do not have opportunities to study because of their financial capacity. If given the opportunity they will thrive.”
